IMO, I don't believe it was brutal inside. If it was, I think we would have heard it was an apparent murder scene vs a kidnapping. I can't wrap my head around the idea that the family would entertain ransom notes if there was an obvious sign of murder, i.e."brutal" inside.

Very strange. The only thing I can come up with is to verify with the perp they actually have the correct note since copy cats are out there, or it was some weird request by them because they're in a convoluted fantasy world. Wild guess because I've got nothing! As always JMO

JMO - If it were me and every eye blink, hand movement or non movement was scrutinized for something nefarious, I wouldn't want to be on camera either. SG is in her element in front of the camera, albeit not in this capacity, and has professional composure.

It simply could be they're not celebrities and keep their lives more private. Just as they are much more reserved behind the camera and let SG take the lead. She's more comfortable in that position, if that's even remotely possible in this situation.

Why take a body regardless of how they passed? I believe NG left there alive, but injured. JMO

I thought he/she looks very calm. Didn't stress over seeing the camera, no frantic movements. IMO, this type of demeanor would be helpful in getting an elderly person to cooperate with you.
