Anyone else think it is possible that the father didn't rape SP but maybe one of her friends and she ran away because she found out? I know very unlikely but possible?
I wonder if these interruptions by the judge - and in this case I believe the judge is completely mistaken - could be grounds for an appeal should DM be found not guilty?
I'm positive that the EMT testified that although he didn't check for pulse he did touch the body in a way that determined WM was dead. It concerns me that this judge seems quite harsh on the prosecution and may be ignoring some testimony.
If DM is found guilty does the sentence automatically become consecutive based on the LB ruling or is there a chance it will be served concurrently with one of the 25 yr sentences already imposed?
Interesting point. I assume those firings, almost immediately after the death/murder, will be brought up to show that these are not the actions of a distraught, grieving child. But the are the actions of a cold, ruthless, selfish individual.
How is that even fair? So frustrating that so many rules in favour of the accused. If you are correct, then the Crown CANT bring up the fact that at a previous trial DM said the gun was a gift for his father.
Also, just thought of this, but if I was buying a gift for a depressed raging...
If MS told Marlena that DM confessed to him, Marlena is not allowed to say so in trial because it would be hearsay evidence. I wonder if MS will be called?
I’m quite surprised at this probability bulls***. You would think (hope?) that even a 1% suspicion that it WASNT suicide would lead to a more intense investigation. This must be good news for murderers in Toronto - seems like all you have to do is a half/arsed job of making it look like...
Your first question: you are correct when shooting a gun normally. It's done with forefinger. However, any movie I've ever seen where a suicide or attempt is shown, the person almost always has the gun nozzle facing them and use the thumb - or both actually - to pull the trigger. Unless the...
Winter, I think the theory is that he took a cab from Oakville the night before to do the murder. Then returned the following day in his own vehicle to supposedly check on his dad OR just arrive home after any other work day.
And according to him he went there specifically to check on his father. But instead of immediately supposedly checking on him he fiddled around fetching a sweater and making a snack and “just happened to notice his father still in bed”. His lies are falling apart. I hope as the interview...
