her page has been updated today with a new exclusion.
Elsie went missing at 41 years old, and Jane Doe's estimate is 16-25, so I'm glad they're not ignoring leads that don't fit in that range.
Again, she was already decomposing so I wonder how accurate the age estimate was.

i recently posted a write-up of this doe on reddit and someone suggested her, so it makes me happy to see that they're quick with updating her page and looking into her.
I've heard of them "rehydrating" the skin to get prints. So I wonder if just her face wasn't recognizable. Or, maybe they found some prints in the room from her.
That or some kind of motel ... even then much of the time they take the payment and let you do as you please. The strangest part is how she went days without being discovered.

apologies if this has been answered already. why does her one recon on NamUs have a bar over the lower part? usually that's done if the lower jaw isn't available but there's no mention of that, and there's a photo of her full skull also available.
