    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 17th June - Trial Day 5 - Week 2

I don't think anyone slept in that bed, he'd have stayed up all night that night, planning, rehearsing, belly-aching. He couldn't wait to get the 000 call over & done with, it must have seemed a lonnnng time waiting for daylight to break... "should I call yet, is it too soon ... ok here...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay - Trial Day 1 - 10th June, 2014-Week 1

Hi all, Just want to say a quick hello while it's quiet, I've followed all threads on this case from the start, but have never posted until now. I really appreciate all the posts and updates, thank you! As I've read those emails between the two of them, it's chilling to see how extremely...

Does anyone know how long before sentencing..? I still haven't managed to get into Perth to attend the court, the only time I've ever been inside a court was to do jury duty years ago - in Perth Do you just roll up & they let you in..? & is it the Supreme court..?

One more thing The daughters have been absolutely convincing about LR lack of fitness, bad back, weak person physically, "most he can do is change a lightbulb" ... Now a relative of CR in Canada claims LR went to the Gym on a daily basis & bragged about being Brown Belt Karate!

No I'm sorry in my opinion these girls are very peculiar - & I've met a few. Their cavalier attitude is disconcerting to say the least. Not one word of missing their mum - from what I read - just that life has been pretty much the same without her, meals - the same, washing done - the same...

Watched the news earlier & could hardly believe what I heard: Judge asking 'unnamed confidential witness' if he & Corryn had engaged in actual intercourse. Sorry, but is this the same judge who didn't find L.R.'s disinterest in Corryn's funeral necessary or relevant to have to listen to..? The...

I plan to go to the court tomorrow, as I am now semi-retired & have some time to call my own (at last)

Daughter is off to Oxford..?? it's amazing she can concentrate on her studies given the circumstances, those girls must have had excellent counselling. I wish her well & hope she can find it in her heart to reconnect with her Grandfather in Willetton before she heads off! :( I also wonder...

Can't believe L.R. used his wedding speech for the Eulogy "On the day of Mrs Rayney’s funeral on September 1 Ms Coutinho said she was surprised by Mr Rayney’s eulogy. "It was a copy of his wedding speech," she said. "It was word for word his wedding speech."...

'Having sat through nearly a day of evidence Justice Brian Martin intervened in the cross-examination of Rohan Coutinho, the husband of Mrs Rayney’s sister Sharon, when he was being questioned about the placing of Mrs Rayney’s ashes. "I just don’t see how it is of any relevance to me...

apologies if it's been mentioned a dozen times already... just need to back up my post above with a link 'Murder book' Last month it was revealed in court that state prosecutor John Aguis, QC, intended to bring to trial a witness's testimony that Mr Rayney was planning on writing a book...

Thank you so much for the lovely welcome ! :) Regarding the lack of blood evidence in or around their property, the first thing I thought about was how LR had professed to know 'how to commit the perfect murder' ... not sure who he is supposed to have said this to, but he'd hardly be leaving...
