Thank you. I took some time to search before commenting further. I see that "Lori Ruff" (now identified) has already been suggested. My avatar is a close up of the "egghead" shirt that the girl in the polaroid was wearing. I wasn't convinced it was an egghead tee shirt then, but I am convinced...
Hello All.
I am responding to my own post to correct myself.
After searching for a match to the girls shirt and after reviewing just about every scanned image I could find, I can now say that I am convinced that her tee shirt was an "egghead" printed tee shirt.
I sincerely apologize to...
It has been a long time since I have been able to visit this thread. As much as I enjoy all the input since my last visit, Wendy Susan Byron remains as my strongest possible match.
I notice that Wendy is still not on the exclusions list, too. Despite the fact that I called and submitter her...
Thank you so much for your kind words and understanding. This case especially has been quite an education for me. So many hours by so many people. I hope that Lori's (Kimberly's) daughter can have some solice, someday, knowing that our actions to identify her mother were always well intended.
I am such a Johnny Come Lately to this thread. I guess I have a plate of crow to eat because I was so convinced that "Denise Sheehy" was a match and she clearly was not. Now, I have to apologize for pushing the idea as hard as I did. I always shared some of the concerns others had with the...
I am in search of a good computer program that would not only help with this case but probably with countless others.
The process is called "Age Regression" and it's much like the "age progression" process that we are used to seeing used in missing children's cases.
Please help me find a...
I can really relate to what you are saying about the limitations. I am from a very large family. My father was the oldest of 12 and while there are some subtle traits that made them look more like siblings when they were much younger. . . even some of those traits faded with age.
Yes, there are several reasons for why I still think that LEK was actually Denise Sheehy.
I see similarities between LEK and Denise and her sisters. . . Even though others don't. I even see a likeness between LEK and Denise's age progression images.
Some of it is based on Vellings comments...
I think it is within forum rules to share this image for consideration. The images of the two sisters on the left and right are from a public site created to find their missing sister (Denise Sheehy) and I pasted the image of LEK in the middle.
As I said in an earlier post, I am all in with...
On the subject of comparing LEK's images to the siblings or other relatives of known Missing Persons, I have an image that I would like to submit for consideration along those same lines.
The image is from a facebook page that was created to find this particular missing person, but I would...
I have to say it was an absolutely brilliant idea to compare LEK's image to that of Beckie Sue Turner's surviving sister.
I wish I was sharp enough to have thought of doing that.
Thanks for asking but I don't want to disclose where those images are from because I don't want skew the consideration or input from others while I continue my sleuthing for new possible considerations.
