I share this opinion. I hadn’t seen this letter before today but it strikes an odd tone. He taught her how to be independent but she and her adult daughter both live with him? I’m not trying to judge anyone’s life circumstances but that math doesn’t quite add up.

I thought there was only one young girl, but she was alone and led from the house. She also never admitted to being raped, either because she was embarrassed or because EARS meant to take an older neighbor that looked a lot like the young girl.
