The search on the 7th at Enderby was a prominent one with a few Grand Chiefs present. The woman's body was found on the morning of the 8th in Calgary but the odour was first noticed on the 7th. Can we be sure that placement wasn't meant as an insult? How far in advance was the search...

CPD has to say this because the cause of death either hasn't yet been determined or they're not ready to release it; however, they seem to be fairly sure that he at least took part in the placement process of at least what they've found of her so far. And this is where it becomes complicated...
