This happened about an hour from where I live, and it's heart-wrenching to think that this cold blooded killer who called herself Karissa's mother, could look into the eyes of her child and hear her say "Mommy. Don't" as she tightened the twine around her neck and brutally murdered her.... all...
I think DC asked Hoover to videotape the foray as insurance. He probably trusted him at that point, and didn't give a second thought as to the "later" ramifications. I'm sure he was simply thinking "in the moment" about covering his butt in the possibility that he did indeed locate her body...
Thanks, I actually hadn't read that particular detail and haven't watched NG for a bit. I did hear it stated that the FBI has confiscated Hoover's cell phone as well as the tape, hopefully they have DC's as well. Wouldn't take much to find out who he was talking to.
Thanks so much for the confirmation, I have NG actually DVR'd and have been rewinding and replaying in an effort to find the statement... to no avail [thought I was going crazy for a minute...lol]
I definitely think there are still some missing pieces to this puzzle with regards to the meter...
Am I hearing things or did I catch that Dominic Casey was on his cell phone when he was allegedly videotaped by Hoover at the site?
Someone "guiding" him perhaps? Maybe the meter reader got sick of trying to get LE out there. Something's weird about the meter reader situation. No, not the man...
According to LP, Hoover said that Dominic Casey called him up and said "Get up here, we're going to go get Caylee." Hoover asks Dominic Casey "Is she alive?" to which Dominic Casey replies "No, she's deceased". They get up there and Hoover said he videotaped Dominic Casey @ the body disposal...
I do agree.
But I actually believe the Anthonys know that Casey is responsible for Caylee's death, even though they're not shouting it from the rooftops. They know... as hopeful and hurting grandparents they might have been in major denial, but I don't think they're complete idiots. And...
This story is odd to me... one would think after stealing a car, the last thing you'd want to do is go back to the victim's home with it. How would they know the car wouldn't have been spotted by the victims or a neighbor? As a criminal, it seems like taking an unnecessary risk of apprehension...
This isn't a defense of them but a serious question..
Does anyone know that George and Cindy have not, at this point, accepted that their daughter did indeed kill their grand-daughter?
I can understand any parent holding out hope and plunging into the deep end of denial while there was still...
If I had to guess, it would most likely be because the person responsible is his daughter. I'm trying to think how I might react in the same situation. And while I would understand and want justice for my grand-daughter, my position would be far different and more difficult than the general...
...lol. True. Thanks for the laugh :)
I only meant to convey that teenage, unplanned pregnancies are probably more likely to result in a larger percentage of "launch failures" than in the general population.
I respectfully disagree with this assertion. As I stated in an earlier post, I have an 18 yr old who has been held accountable all his life and taught that he is responsible for his actions. He has been through many programs, as have I. He is no more responsible today than he was at 2 ... and I...
This is what I'm not getting.. I most completely agree with the "Failure to Launch" analogy, but Casey isn't the only 22 yr old in the country with an unplanned pregancy who is being enabled by her parents [especially once the baby arrived]... and yet because she went on to kill her child...
