I have kind of been all over the place on this one. When all of the reports of the shady behavior first came out right after Cooper's tragic death, I thought he was definitely guilty of premeditated murder. Once some of the original statements were partially "walked back" or weren't exactly...
I also found the whole description of how the secret magazine messages were discovered to be fascinating, as it appears that the behavior of Anne Campbell raised the suspicions of Juan and the intelligence officer at the jail. According to Juan, Anne Campbell stared at him with a grin in the...
One thing I took from the book was just how incredibly disciplined Juan Martinez is, which, although it was already evident from watching him at trial, became more pronounced with this behind the scenes look into the mind of Martinez. From the descriptions of how he would never eat or drink at...
Just started the book...got it on iTunes. So awesome to be inside the mind of Juan during the early stages of the investigation. Can't wait to read more and then see what everyone else here thinks.

Hello all...I read here often, but rarely post. I watched the first trial in its entirety, and have followed this penalty phase here and via Twitter. During the first trial, I was often pessimistic after jury questions. This round of questions seems to resoundingly favor the prosecution, in...
After hearing the foreman, I am shocked that they convicted her for First Degree Murder. I hope some of the other jurors come forward so we can get their perspectives as well.
