That letter also states she was last seen leaving her house on April 29th. obviously the letter has some errors in it, or maybe the DA is correct -she was already gone on the 29th and Arlene and Susie are in on it too? just sayin'

It is very wrong to say that Matt is not a victim. The news conference yesterday was held to let the HCSO announce that they, the SMPD, the TBI and the FBI all working together had determined that this was an accident, and that Matt was not involved. SO, he has been a victim for the past eight...

Thank you Blue Moc... so many people have stated that they would not be satisfied with the outcome unless Matt was arrested. Nothing he could possibly say would appease them, and to me it only proves that he was correct in not making comments and press releases during the entire ordeal.

"the children have never been questioned" "Matt Palmgren refuses to allow children to be questioned" Those are two VERY DIFFERENT statements, and imply very different meanings. To my knowledge the only source stating that Matt didn't allow it is BGHN.

One thing that I have learned from all of this is that Callie Starnes is the absolute worst reporter I have ever seen. She has miss quoted, sensationalized, and gotten facts wrong. I am appalled that she used Gail's disappearance as a springboard to her "promotion". (That was stated on FB at...

<modsnip> How do you think it was carried out if your theory is correct? The rock still had to get over the side. Was it carried? That would have taken more than one person, and you would think someone would notice people tossing a huge rock over the side, then setting a jeep in place and...

yes, 100%, THEY deserve to know, but WE the public, really have no right to that. If LE determines it is an accident, we have no right to anything further.

Yes, I understand that, but that is not really what the original comment said. Here is the copy/paste of a portion of it. "Even with all the circumstances, if a few days after this happened and the jeep was found I would be more inclined to think this to be just one tragic accident. It...

My understanding of what the man said was that he thought someone had either pulled in or backed in and pushed it off, just to be mean and vandalize. He said he noticed it missing and did see the tracks, but looked over and didn't see anything abnormal looking, so pretty much didn't persue it...

OK, now I am truly confused (ha ha) I thought we were talking about the lady, Diane Helton, who was quoted talking about how scary driving was on the brow when it was raining or foggy. What man are you talking about?

I can't see how taking 7 months to find her has anything to do with how or why she died. If she had been buried somewhere, or found mixed into a concrete slab 7 months later, it would point to foul play, but not in this case. Car accidents happen every day. Just because there hasn't been one...

I don't think anyone was really discussing a 'fray' going on elsewhere. We weere discussing the fact that Arlene seems to demand other people do what she wants them to. The fray was an example of this behavior. But thanks for your opinion.

It may not be a common name, but I can think of at least 5 people I personally know, with the name Helton. Somehow I don't think this lady named Helton is as big an issue as some are trying to make it.

I saw the interview with the homeowner last night. He said they thought vandals had pushed the rock over the edge, which would explain the rock being missing and any marks or tracks that were present. He even went as far as to say he went and looked over the edge to see if he saw it, but could...
