We haven’t used our front door since we moved here 35 years ago. We have always come in via our garage. I don’t even carry a key to our front door. The only people who come to our front door are visitors.
I don't have an opinion one way or the other about the phone's location, but it states that the phone was found at the home, not in it. I take it that they are telling the reader that NG did not take the phone with her. If the phone was in her car, it was at the home.
Has it been confirmed that the blood by the door is NG’s blood? It appears to me that whoever removed the doorbell cam could have injured himself/herself in doing so and the blood could belong to that person.

I think we need to be very careful in interpreting the phrase "inappropriate touching" since that came from a member of a religous cult. We have no idea what this cult deems as "inappropriate". Consider that there are very conservative, religious groups who only side hug members of the opposite...
