I am one of those who was disappointed in Cindy today. :anguish: I too felt that she had finally worked through her need to deny. I understood why she held so tightly to her belief that ICA was innocent and defended that belief aggressively. I can't even imgine being in her shoes. In the end...

I am having trouble getting my head around how a lawyer could make the opening statement that Jose did, much less, try to make it hold water. Is JB obligated to use all the "facts" Casey insists on? Or could he have used only the accident theory? Or maybe he is just a "unusual person"......

If Jose is smart (yes, I know), he would pass on questioning Cindy. There is very little to be gained. If he comes out swinging, he alienates the jury more, if he treats her with kid gloves, any points he might make, will be colored with sympathy for Cindy having to testify against her daughter.

I have seen it mentioned several times, that if a juror has survived abuse, they would tend to be sympathetic towards kc. For me, I think it would be the opposite. As a survivor, I would be harder on her. She did nothing to remove herself from that house (most of us count the days until we can...

I can't beleive that anyone would think that Caylee is better off dead to "save" her from CA. There has been absolutly nothing showing that there was any physical abuse in that home. And the emotional abuse many seem to be concerned with, is based on snippets we have gathered from the news...
