Jesus Christ. Anyone watching KRCG? South of JC a 21 year old sexually assaulted his 5 month old baby, and cracked its skull. Baby had to have surgery to repair internal injuries, but expected to recover.

Thats my feeling exactly. The article I just linked above mentioned searching the area, including nearby creeks, which might be because they thought drowning or some other accident.

If I remember correctly, the Amber alert wasn't issued because the sheriff didn't have any reason to suspect foul play until Friday morning, presumably after he got the 'written' note or whatever it was.

Hy-Vee has totally expanded. Not small stores like the ones I've seen in Iowa, but great big jumbo marts, clean and bright. All over Missouri now. And thats a good thing, Hy-Vee rocks. :)

Just got back from Hy-Vee, across the street from where the service was today. There was still a big KMOV TV (St. Louis) truck in HyVee at 9:45 pm. It looked like they were packing up, but the satellite dish (one of those great big ones) was still raised. Wonder why they are still here so late.

Theres no way IMO that she will be let out. Its just following policy, crossing the t's and dotting the i's. As much as this seems to be a cut and dried case, they still hafta do it by the book.
