Sometimes what isn't said is more important than what is. RCMP did state there is no evidence of abduction. What they haven't said (afaik) is 'there is no evidence of foul play.' Food for thought ?

It's possible that the children were capable of undressing/dressing themselves, hence the parents not being able to confirm what they may have been wearing at the time of their disappearance.
