I first read about this young boy several years ago and have never forgotten him. It is now 2021 and I wondered if there has been any progress on identifying him. I did see a report that the Vidocq group felt they were close to solving the case last fall - any progress?

Yes, PLEASE!!!!! The discussion needs to continue. A supreme injustice has been done and attention needs to remain on this case.

Lucy, Why do you have such contempt for a dead woman? Personally, I find your repeated character assissinations of Rebecca to be beyond bizzare. Are you willing to share why, after so much time, you have such a personal stake in this case?

LuckyLucy2 why are you so convinced this is about money? You mention it in nearly every post, you seem obsessed by the monetary aspect of the suit, can you explain why you feel it is the most relevant aspect?

If he had asked for a lawyer he would have gotten one. I am positive the cops would not mess this one up. They were sickened by what they were hearing and went by the book.

It's interesting to compare his photo today compared to the booking photo. He seems so meek and mild - he looks like "Skippy" on the old Family Ties TV show. Nice make over by his attorney. I don't see how they can claim he was wasn't completely aware of his actions. He left a message...

Don't take it as a lack of interest. I, for one, would like to hear the latest and want to be kept informed. I wish the moderators would consider opening up the other thread. I also think it's interesting that all of a sudden there is no one presenting irrational arguments or concocting wild...

I hope the mods agree. I would like to be kept abreast of all movement in the case.

I'm so with you on that one SweetT! Justice is keeping on top of anything that comes along on the legal front but I must confess, I'm not sure what the new info means.

I also think the most critical issue will be whether or not the jury believes LE did their job appropriately or not. Thanks for the link, very interesting read.
