    Gerard Baden Clay's murder appeal

Well he does have a history of being mighty clumsy!

Just need to correct you- the address where the death took place is 44 Sheerwater Drive, Douglas- not Shoal Water drive.

Interview(s) from TM - the mistress

After reading the AWW article - 8 pages of it - I don't think it glorifies TM and it doesn't do her any favours. It certainly shows either TM is totally naive or lying about lts of the facts. A lot of married people cheat (it doesn't make it right) and if cheated on you don't normally get...

The aftermath of the verdict *MERGED*

Toni certainly is hard to read - she seems genuinely upset and scared. I'm wondering if other charges may be forthcoming- no other hyphenated family members got so much of a mention in that lengthy interview. Reporter Tara Brown did a good job. The shots of Kholo Bridge and the house/patio...

Inspector Mark Ainscough- " I wouldn't trust Gerard Baden Clay to take my dog for a walk"- what awesome Policemen - they knew from day 1! Brilliant work!

They must have had to pay that bloke a lot to play Gerard. I suppose the man himself would only be upset that the actor isn't nearly as good looking as he thinks he is! Toni still had feelings for him I reckon.

Same for mine TGY- he did the crime and now for the punishment!

I agree- throw the appeal out! What a ridiculous piece of work he is! It's all about the cash- no wonder he went to pieces when he learnt the verdict and sobbed through the victim impact statements! It was all for himself!

The Waltons were definitely not 'passing the hat around' to their local congregation. I believe a letter was sent to some of their friends asking for donations. That certainly wasn't done as a blanket letter to the local congregation. They had a long standing association with Ashgrove Baptist...

    GBC's life in prison

On the news tonight it was reported that Gerard spent his first night sobbing in his cell. His one phone call was to his parents- he sobbed and pleaded his innocence. Is he that deluded? Is there a psychological condition that would make him actually believe his own lies?

You are spot on Aliwonders. Northreach Church does a lot of good in the community- they give out food hampers to the needy every week amongst other things. They are not fair game. There are some wonderful people who attend that church. Olivia is not the one behind bars- we may not agree with the...

    ***GUILTY***The Verdict Waiting Room #3

Straya -yeah! That's sad isn't it and wrong in my opinion. Wait until the girls can make the decision for themselves I say!

    ***GUILTY***The Verdict Waiting Room #3

Thank goodness - justice prevailed today. There's some church folk bleating on about the BCs snr losing out -and hope there's enough compassion from the Dickies to allow the girls to visit with their other grandparents. Don't start me on compassion....they were quick to put the boot in on the...

    The Verdict Waiting Room

This one for Alioop please. If (when) Gerard is found guilty - what is the process for sentencing? I know it doesn't happen immediately but what is the norm in a situation like this? I'm hoping the jurors have had a refreshing weekend and the facts have settled well enough to make the right...
