NM - Halyna Hutchins Shot With Prop Gun - Alec Baldwin indicted & Hannah Gutierrez-Reed charged, 21 Oct 2021 #8

Lawsuits and not guilty verdicts are separate matters and are not related. Rather, lawsuits are civil matters and only need the preponderance of the evidence to win a judgement. Not guilty verdicts pertain to criminal court and are need beyond a reasonable doubt level to convict. In the...

NM - Halyna Hutchins Shot With Prop Gun - Alec Baldwin indicted & Hannah Gutierrez-Reed charged, 21 Oct 2021 #8

I don't think he can- at least not as easy as he can sue the deep pocketed Baldwin. Evidently, the production company was a temporary entity formed by a pool of investors for the sole purpose of funding Rust. Suing individual investors maybe too much of stretch even in the United States. In...

TX TX- Overnight flooding at Camp Mystic, all girls camp. 28 from camp dead, Hunt, Kerr County, July 4, 2025

Despite their claims, I doubt AC had anything to do with where the cabins were placed. Being next to a river- or in this case, a creek bearing the title of "river" (dry state) can drop the temperature a few degrees- and probably increase the humidity a notch or two. That aside, had the...

Nancy Guthrie, 84, (mother of TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie) missing - last seen in the Catalina foothills area on Jan 31, 2026

I don't think its a matter of tracing bit coin transactions. Rather, its where it is traced to. For example: - Good news, we traced the transaction! Bad news, it was traced to a bank in Apactzingan, Michoacan- the home of the friendly La Familia Michoacana cartel faction. After being...

Nancy Guthrie, 84, (mother of TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie) missing - last seen in the Catalina foothills area on Jan 31, 2026

I am sure there are a lot. NG, however, may have represented a "perfect storm" for a kidnapping for ransom motive. For example: Sure, there are plenty of wealthy families in Tuscon. But..... - We actually have knowledge of where this wealthy person lives after house keeper HK told her...

Bahamas - Lynette Hooker (55), US citizen, missing after husband says she fell off boat and was swept out to sea, Elbow Cay, Abaco, 4 April 2026

Fortunately, it might not matter. Evidently part of the legal cooperation treaty between the US and the Bahamas allows for the US to prosecute US citizens charged in the Bahamas with serious offenses. I am hoping that pursuant to that treaty (if it allows for prosecution, it probably...

Bahamas - Lynette Hooker (55), US citizen, missing after husband says she fell off boat and was swept out to sea, Elbow Cay, Abaco, 4 April 2026

I believe “holds” can be placed on pay outs involving cases under police investigation. Evidently, the search has been suspended, but not the investigation per se. But… like keeping BH detained , there maybe limits on how long a hold can be maintained with out an active investigation and new...

TX TX- Overnight flooding at Camp Mystic, all girls camp. 28 from camp dead, Hunt, Kerr County, July 4, 2025

Evidently the death rate was mostly centered on one cabin dangerously close to the river- though they apparently received flood exemptions for others over the years. No phone policies are common with summer camps. So, that would not have been a Camp Mystic centered policy. In short, holding...

That is some good luck in a bad situation. The embassy US embassy will now need to re-issue him his passport. After all, he might be an illegal alien. So.... his identity and place of birth will need to be meticulously verified. Hoping that this takes time.

I imagine they can. Once entered, nobody has an inherent right to leave a sovereign country. Rather, sovereign countries can place a variety of restrictions on exits. The fact that they rarely do so would not void their ability.

TX TX- Overnight flooding at Camp Mystic, all girls camp. 28 from camp dead, Hunt, Kerr County, July 4, 2025

137 people drowned that day. A certain large number were at private RV camps- whose mega flood evacuation plans may, or may not have been existent. Likewise, other deaths were at vacation rentals. Camp Mystic needs to be held to the exact same standards as these other businesses. I have...

TX TX- Overnight flooding at Camp Mystic, all girls camp. 28 from camp dead, Hunt, Kerr County, July 4, 2025

I don't think it a money issue at all. Nearly all of the families patronizing the camp are wealthy. Rather, the lack of AC seems to be part of the charm of a simpler time that encourages campers to stay outdoors during the day and to thus participate in and enjoy out door activities...

GUILTY CA - Kris Anderson, 57, murdered, Santa Monica, 11 June 2016

It looks like he Appellate Court reviewed the appeal and reached a conclusion that the defendant was not entitled to have had the "Heat of Passion" mitigating circumstances read to the jury. he appellate Court then noted that since the appeal was filed, Krah had been released. It appears...

Bahamas - Lynette Hooker (55), US citizen, missing after husband says she fell off boat and was swept out to sea, Elbow Cay, Abaco, 4 April 2026

I really wish they had went to a country using French Napoleonic Law ( very popular system, used by countries with no connection to France) as their legal foundation instead of Common Law like the Bahamas. Like our Roman Law system, Common Law seems to be purely guilty /not guilty in regards...

Bahamas - Lynette Hooker (55), US citizen, missing after husband says she fell off boat and was swept out to sea, Elbow Cay, Abaco, 4 April 2026

The possibility of being intoxicated is a valid question. So is the possibility of a good and intoxicated swimmer panicking when caught by the tide and trying to swim against it. They then quickly exhaust themselves and drown. But good grief, much of the area seems to be coastal marsh...
