Unbelievable that they got him. We have been waiting for this day for years, thank God the familial dna testing was used. Without it, we would never know who this demon was. It is great news.

Scottsdale is cold enough you wouldn't have your door open at night in February. As mentioned in earlier posts, the neighbors were asked to provide DNA, more specifically, from my understanding, neighbors that fit a certain 'profile' in the surrounding area were asked (what that profile is, I...

Interesting, I didn't realize that was why SPD feels the killer could be from out of town. Assuming this is some serial killer from out of town, it seems like it would be very risky breaking in to a house with an alarm sign in the front yard. The person would either have to be stupid or...

I believe this case has been so difficult to solve because she killer had so long to clean up the house, so I am very curious how LE supposedly has the killer's DNA. One question still bothers me. Why did Allison get an alarm system WITHOUT a video camera? Why in God's name would someone do...

It reminds me of the houses closer to 68th street or so, east of the canal. I always liked that area, being that they are not Hallcraft houses and have a little more personality. Rain is a good thing in Scottsdale I think... cools it down a little.

Kinda looks like some of the older parts of Scottsdale, with the citrus trees and the lack of sidewalks, and the irrigation friendly depressions around the trees.

It tells us "Scottsdale investigators have the killer's DNA, but it is not a match to anyone in the criminal database." What does it tell you?

It looks to me like the same house, with the same address. The sign is just missing in one pic.

It seems like the results would have come back by now, yet no one has been cleared. It is really strange, since to the outsider the DNA either matches or it doesn't. I just wonder that is going on, and I wish if they really didn't have any suspects they would just come out and say it, so...

I wanted to mention, this is a good shot of the door, and that little window on the door used to open up. I imagine after the renovations, it still does, and allows you to see who is outside at the door before you unlock the door.

I did not see one in the backyard from the alley.

Nice find. That sign is pretty hard to miss. If I was a thief, rapist, or stalker, and it was nighttime and I saw that sign, it would scare me off. Why risk a burglary when the lights are on in the house at night, and someone is clearly home? What rapist would risk having the police show...
