Thank you for your prompt response. In my opinion, the Judge should look into the CBI, FBI investigations of SM disappearance to decide the request for permanent Guardianship. IMO, BM, is a definite POI in the case and the petition should be declined.

Exactly!! This is huge. That is why I am very keen on knowing how the Judge is going to look at the Guardianship as it points towards a financial gain motive in her disappearance.

I too am waiting to see what happens. I do think the Judge will send this back to Colorado if not on grounds of residency than at least in the best interest of SM. I do sincerely hope she is found before the hearing.

I always thought once you move from your one state to another you have to update the address on your driving licence within a number of days. Does the rule differ in each state? Not only that, even if you change residence within the state you have to update your DL. MOO

To add to what you have already included, a Petition for PermanentGuardianship will have to be filed and heard in the Colorado Probate Court. The Indiana Probate Court, IMO might not have the jurisdiction to hear the petition as both BM and SM are Colorado residents. MOO
