I'm hearing locally through a private message that the bf has just been charged with malice murder ... nothing official on media or news just yet on that though

she was found in Crawford county, right along the Crawford/Peach county line. They were given a tip about some property in Taylor County (allegedly owned by some of the bf's family) but nothing was found there.

I do not now, nor did I live there when this happened, but I am familiar with the area's: both of the abduction in Ft Smith, and the Turner Bend area outside of Ozark in Franklin County. I lived there during the 70's. Turner Bend is fairly remote and still would have been during this time...

what makes you think that? The location of the abduction, when put in context with the location her body was found tends to make me think it could have been random...some young country buck up in the big city of Ft Smith...something went wrong and she ended up in a place and area where whomever...

Turner Bend would be about an hour southeast of Ft Smith, not north... it is outside of the town of Ozark
