Something else is going on here. I don't in any way suspect the mother of doing something to this little girl, but we're not being told something. Think about it:

I did some online sleuthing and found out the name of someone connected to her romantically; I did not see this name on the FB page, nor have I looked. But it appears that this person has been arrested in the near past for larceny.
He specifically said that there is a relationship between the items shown on the receipt and the items recovered in today's search of Lower Gambier Road. It was the last thing he said--after the presser was officially over and as he was leaving the room.
Barber acknowledges that yesterday's presser may have been a little too free-wheeling with the information. I'm glad he recognizes that. While we all like to have as much information as we can, it does nothing to help the LE's investigation to release a lot of information to the public.

I agree...I kind of wish he'd stop talking in order to not compromise the investigation. While he's pretty well-spoken, I do detect a bit of inexperience with this level of attention (which isn't surprising nor his fault). I've just seen so many of these pressers and LE normally doesn't give...
While I like this sheriff, he does appear to be letting a lot of information out. Maybe I'm just used to the Kyron LE letting absolutely NOTHING out, but it seems like he's giving (or implying) a lot of info to the media.
