Been away for the weekend [no internet access] and was truly devestated to hear this via the news last night. Has taken me two hours to read back through the thread. I feel so desperately sad for Gaia, she was obviously a troubled little soul, and had endured a lot in her short little life...

Exactly what I think.... 'freudian slip'.

As neighbours said they heard an 'altercation' with Gaia and RD, perhaps PE intervened because he felt Gaia was abusing his frail elderly mother. I feel RD let 'slip' a few truths in her interview "slipped" "cuddled" "responded" I think the "pounding" demonstration was RD recalling Gaia...

Swanage School [High Street] finishes at 15:30, nurseries finish slightly earlier.... there WOULD have been a fair amount of school children in the area, not to mention mum's ferrying children about. I agree there would be a small window of opportunity of her not being seen on the 3-5 walk/jpg...

It would have been by the volunteers who were advising on the Find Gaia site and filling in the spreadsheet, but not everyone knew how to fill in the spreadsheet. As above it looks to me as if they could have been disturbed by animals...

If they are her clothes, the fact they have been found without her wearing them makes it all the more sinister... and from what I can see they look scattered so quite likely disturbed by animals?

I believe the arrest would have happened sooner but he went AWOL
