What befuddles me is how TC expects to continue their adventure. Sure, he may have made it into Mexico and such, but how will he earn income? Doing what? Even in an impoverished country, $4500 is not enough to hide much longer. Where will they stay?

Depends where they cross from. Here in my city, you just pay the toll at the machine and cross. No checks at all.

Just read another article that the caller indicated that the vehicle was traveling on US Highway 191, not stopped at a gas station. Then again, US 191 does not run anywhere NEAR Texas, neither does Texas 191. So much conflicting information...

Whether it was a valid sighting or not, I'd put the border patrol and other border agents on alert.
