I would have to agree. I really think we're giving him too much credit and that this plan isn't well...
What befuddles me is how TC expects to continue their adventure. Sure, he may have made it into Mexico and such, but how will he earn income? Doing what? Even in an impoverished country, $4500 is not enough to hide much longer.

No you don't. I live here in a border city. My in-laws cross very often (they're natives) by car. They do not ask for passports.
Edit: They only ask for documentation if you're driving DEEP into Mexico. Where I live, one can literally just waltz into Mexico. However, we can only make it as far...
Just read another article that the caller indicated that the vehicle was traveling on US Highway 191, not stopped at a gas station. Then again, US 191 does not run anywhere NEAR Texas, neither does Texas 191. So much conflicting information...
They need to validate this as a legitimate sighting first. I'm close the Corpus Christi area and so far, no AAs. I'm teaching my last block class and phones would have started going off like crazy!

I posted this article earlier, just fresh off the local press, but if he was spotted in North Beach, that means that they're likely on their way to Mexico.
