It has been quite some time since I read these so I may be remembering wrong ( and I will try to double check when I have 5 mins) but the thing with the chair may have come about because JR didn't know at first that FW and/or that policeman was down in the basement early and one or both of them...
Thank you PositiveLight for the transcripts. Once again I am struck by what Spitz said about the "sexual assault". I still take it to mean that there wasn't even staging of one and that the piece of wood was most likely transfer as was the blood in the underwear. So if this is true where did the...
I too have not read all the posts yet, so apologies if this was addressed. i came away with the same impression: There was no sexual intrusion, staged or otherwise. The wood splinter was incidental transference?
I would be very grateful if someone could clear that up please.
I am listening to the first episode now (I missed the beginning last night) and I am up to the 911 call. I have never been 100% convinced what people say they hear is definitely what is said so I wanted to hear other people's opinions. After listening to the episode I think I hear the 2nd voice...
I don't think many people fault the Ramsey's for calling 911, more that they didn't mention that part to the operator so the police could be discreet, as andreww said. Also that they then called friends and church people and invited them around. Let's get as many people to the house as possible...
Thank you UKGuy. I wanted to call rex on this but you did it for me. IDI keep saying that there was not enough evidence for the case to be tried so that is why Hunter didn't prosecute, but that is speculation. We don't know what the GJ saw so we don't know what evidence their decision was based...
The point of the GJ is to decide if there is probable cause. If they signed the true bill then they believed there was probable cause i.e. the case is supported by probable cause.
I believe your reference would be applicable if the GJ didn't indict and the DA went ahead and charged the...
BBM
Ahhhhh, but IDI has been arguing that the grand jury had found probable cause but not beyond a reasonable doubt, so that doesn't apply here. Unless you are now saying the grand jury didn't find probable cause and signed the bill anyway. If so: proof?
I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt Inspector Rex (even though I will probably regret it) and believe that you truly are not understanding what we are saying. Maybe there was not enough evidence for Alex Hunter to feel comfortable signing the true bill. The operative word here is...
No mention that there was an indictment just that they didn't think they had enough evidence. Lying by omission I believe it is called. Also some of his team DID think they should have gone ahead (as mentioned in that article) so not telling the complete truth there either.
I don't see any...
More smoke and mirrors from IDI.
I read the article and 2 jurors said that they understood why Hunter didn't go forward. They didn't say they agreed let alone praised. The other jurors were basically diplomatic and commented on their role and said that what happened after was up to the DA or...
We were all lead to believe that no indictment was handed down by the GJ. Maybe not lying in the strictest sense of the word but there was obviously some sleight of hand going on to make us think that was the case, not the reality that Hunter decided not to follow up on the indictment. If Hunter...
