To put this in context the forest fire in SNP is over an hour long drive away from where her car was found or about 50 miles. So saying it is at the site of a huge forest fire might be stretching it a bit.

You are correct about black bears, usually not aggressive and the ones in Shenandoah are more used to people since the park can get very crowded. Rattlesnakes most likely weren't very active with the temps the days she went missing.

Doesn't matter if it was true or not, the fact that her name was mentioned In a public forum by someone the way it was and that would show up on any Google search of her name would most likely have shaken her up or caused paranoia IMO.

My guess is she deleted her Facebook after her name was mentioned with some not so flattering rumors on FU sometime last year. Probably didn't want to be found online by anyone that visits that site and saw the comments. Or maybe she got tired of Facebook like lots of people have. Could be...

Yep, nothing that rare about a Mini Cooper. People in that area are used to cars from Northern VA coming through there all the time to use the trails, I doubt her car would have been "out of place".

Going to 29 through Warrenton to get to 211 west is a popular way for people to get to Old Rag/White Oak Canyon parts of the park. She could have taken Prince William County Parkway to 66W and then 29 south through Warrenton. Also she could have gone up route 17 through Warrenton to meet up...
