I'd like to reiterate the fecal smearing being connected to ADHD, autism spectrum, OCD, anxiety -- it's a sensory thing. Self-stimulation or self soothing. Someone stated upthread "fecal smearing is almost always related to sexual abuse" and that may be true sometimes, but I'd challenge that...
