I agree with you about the fiancé possibly going to the gym as an alibi and to give himself time to come up with a plan.
The Hulu docuseries said it was the building’s policy that the doorman could only leave his post if law enforcement came. The rules dictated that he had to call a maintenance...
There was a big pool of blood in the photos where her head was probably initially on the ground. There was also a stream of blood on her face that the private investigator said in the Hulu docuseries that it indicated she was initially lying on her back and was moved to be propped up against the...
Yes, the Hulu docuseries said he was trying to get into the apartment for about an hour. The doorman wasn’t allowed to leave his post and had to call a maintenance person to try to help Sam. But I guess they were unreachable or busy because nobody showed up.
That was only one explanation — the medical examiner also offered a couple of other possibilities. So it wasn’t a sure thing. (At least according to the Hulu docuseries.)
The current governor, Josh Shapiro, was the Attorney General at the time and seems to be involved in botching the case. 🤦🏻♀️ He was shown discussing it in the Hulu docuseries.
I had the same thought. Also, the way he told the story in the 911 call, with the whole narrative about him going to the gym, coming back and finding the door locked, then finding her seemed like he was trying to get his alibi on the record. I know we don’t know how we would react in this...
I agree, it seemed like she was in the middle of preparing fruit and her fiancé could have sneaked up behind her and stabbed her in the neck or strangled her. Some of the experts on the Hulu docuseries said there was some evidence of strangulation.
The private investigator who worked with her parents said it seemed like evidence that she was initially lying flat and her body was moved to be propped up in more of a seated position.
There was no chain of custody on the computer. Her fiancé’s uncle, an attorney, went into the apartment after and took her laptop with him. Then he later turned it into the police. So he could have fabricated searches on there after Ellen’s death or Ellen’s fiancé could have done it before or...
That's possible but if it was vacant, why would the garage door have been open, not closed? Usually garages like this don't have any windows or anything, just the large garage door is the only way in. And why would 2 children have gone into the random garage too and found her? Very strange all...
So strange that the people who owned or rented the garage wouldn't know who she was. Why would she sneak into a random garage to hang herself from the rafters??
It's a pretty small house and she'd likely have to walk on the driveway past the house to get to the garage in the back. You can see a...
It's the Hotel Belleclaire. The website says it opened in 1903, so it should have been the same hotel back when this Jane Doe was there, too. Although, they're currently using the address of the entrance on Broadway instead of the 77th Street address.
There was a controversy in 2020 when 14 sex...
