I wrote the original post that this was implied to, and I did not say that older people are prudish. I was trying to get an idea of the makeup of the jury, and I was saying that I believe most people (of all ages) are so exposed to sex and sexual implications that all the sex talk doesn't seem...
I won't. The jury has been absorbing all this for months & not given a chance to talk to anyone about it. They must want to get it out of their system. Look at how much we have talked about everything & we haven't been made to "compress it all inside". I have faith in them.
I think the fact that JA did not subject herself to cross examination, did not ask for forgiveness herself, was a proven liar, the ridiculous blabbering of the defense "experts", how KN kept going back & forth between JD being biased yet using her diagnosis (okay?), and adding the UNPROVEN pedo...
Is there a list of some sort describing the jury? I remember that people kept saying they were a younger jury. I'm trying to put who is left into perspective knowing who is "out". I think that the sex talk will not work with a younger jury because in this day & age we see so much of it all...
I know what you're talking about & I completely agree. I was angry at first, but I realized that those instances show a person's real and true character. Maybe the "unveiling" is a positive thing. I choose to focus on the things that matter instead of the drama. I also wanted to thank everyone...
According to the State vs JA Facebook page "there is a possibility that trial will run late into the evening on Monday 1/26/2015. Attorneys, court staff and jurors are preparing to stay until 8pm if needed and/or necessary. We will know more on Monday." Why the sudden urgency?
Okay, I see...
I believe that the Alexanders need to hear the words "sentenced to death" out loud. This need is not based on revenge or whatever, but I see it more as a validation of the life that was taken, that Travis' life was worth something. I don't think they can move forward until they hear those words...

According to this, the judge is allowing the release of $150,000 to HM. This bothers me so much.
If Jodi doesn't get back on the stand and her testimony is stricken, does the jury get any sort of explanation? If I were a jury member, simply being told to disregard her testimony would definitely impact my decision as I would assume everything she said was a lie.
I have been a member of these TA "support" pages for a long time and I have watched them turn from something positive into a lynch mob. Some of the things people say is appalling. The people who run the pages have turned into dictators of sorts. This is not something TA would have ever condoned...
