The use of "that child" does not, in and of itself, show disdain or indifference. I've seen this discussed elsewhere on WS as possibly a "Southern" term of endearment. I'm from the South, and I distinctly remember calling my little boy "that baby" on occasion, and I definitely loved/love him...

I just had a lightbulb moment. When questioned about whether he could hear anything the night JBR was killed, Burke stated that he couldn't hear talking, but he would be able to hear when the REFRIGERATOR was opened downstairs.... What if JBR had gotten up to get some PINEAPPLE on her own and...

Has anyone considered that there may have been ADDITIONAL PEOPLE involved in the murders? JM's confessions are either 100% true, 100% false... or, a mixture of true and false. The WM3 may have been part of a larger group of people at the crime scene... therefore, the presence of "unknown"...

BBM I'm not sure DE killed those boys, but psychosis IS a "severe mental illness," much more so than uncomplicated bipolar disorder. From his psych history, it is apparent that he would be (would have been) at least CAPABLE of committing the murders.
