Well not if they’re the first ones shot. Think about uvalde - the only way they knew that there were still some students alive in that one classroom was because one of the students kept calling them asking if someone was coming to help. And if we’re not gonna do anything to protect kids at...
That's the first thing I thought of when I read about the cell phone bans. I wouldn't want my child to be in this kind of situation without a phone. It's not a weapon, but it's better than nothing.
Yes, I definitely got that vibe as well (about her probably not liking Abby). And I also wondered if she was desperately trying to keep this kid off LE's radar for as long as possible. Which is a laudable goal, except this kid needed way more help than they could give him at that school and she...
And did you read the part of the Grand Jury report where when Ms. Zwerner went to tell the Asst. Principal that the child was being aggressive, the Asst. Principal NEVER LOOKED UP from her computer and didn't respond until the teacher left. What is up with that woman? Is she related to the child...

Late to this thread, but yeah I don't understand this sentencing AT ALL. I know of people with drug convictions sentenced longer than this evil jerk. Make it make sense!
Yeah, that situation with the crash is craziness. And the guy is still working!!! But I blame the Chapel Hill PD for refusing to be more open about their investigation, etc. I just firmly believe that if your case is going cold, throw everything and the kitchen sink out to the public to see what...
This is so sad to me, as I'm sure it is to everyone else. I just watched the press conference here. I am surprised that the Sheriff gave out names when he also says they have not been able to find the father, but believe he is in South Florida. But all in all, I was super impressed with this...
I agree that I wish someone would throw him in jail, but I fear it may be logistics rather than guts that keep judges from doing that. I can't imagine how it would work with his security detail, etc.
