Yesterday I watched this 2 month old podcast about Trenny Gibson and it includes some very detailed interviews with two people who have investigated her case for years. What they have found out contradicts almost everything I thought I knew about this and they say that Trenny's mom wasn't...
I suppose. I just don't personally know any teens in my family who would willingly walk for nearly 1 1/2 hours instead of riding the bus. That seemed odd to me, like he was avoiding someone on the bus or wanted to be able to stop off someplace on the way home.
I just recently began reading stories and listening to podcasts about Andrew, so forgive me if this has been mentioned before (this thread is almost 40 pages long now and I can't recall everything in it), but what really stood out to me was that he stopped going to church and stopped being in...
I was just thinking that although I've seen the theory mentioned several times that she might have had an abortion which ended in her death, I don't believe I've ever seen the theory mentioned that she might have instead gone somewhere to have a baby in secret and place it for adoption...
I just watched the Disappeared episode about Ray Gricar a few days ago, although I was a little bit familiar with the case beforehand. I know he was extremely worried about something on his laptop but what I keep wondering is why, instead of trying to figure out some way to erase the hard drive...
Exactly! That case made me think of the JBR case and I came here to see if anyone else had commented on it. Kids certainly can commit murders. Some are pre-meditated and some are probably situations where the child did not necessarily intend to cause a death but their actions were so severe...
My first thought is that maybe he went there to commit suicide, that this was his intention and that the story about going out to collect the money is just what he told his parents so he would have a reason for being away from the house for a while. I noticed that his description says he had...
I enjoyed your post very much. I have never thought a real criminal wrote the ransom note. It was written by someone who is attempting to write the note the way they think a criminal would write it, based primarily on things they've seen in movies and on TV and not on any real world criminal...
Exactly! I agree with everything you said.
I always thought it was ridiculous for the school authorities or anyone else to claim that they couldn't have been followed because nobody had told the students where they were going. Anybody could have sat in their car someplace nearby in order to...
I think that, although LE said they have a theory about who was responsible for his death, the problem is probably that they can't prove it for certain and the person is already dead and cannot be prosecuted.
The story the students told about the ring is so fishy. If Trenny took the ring off to wash her hands, seems like she'd put it back on after she dried her hands, not tell another girl to hold it for her for the rest of the day. I like to take my rings off to wash my hands but then I put them...
I had not seen that. I follow the page but it didn't come up in my newsfeed. I hope it's information that will be useful. It's so strange how it seems like nobody from that time ever offered up anything that the police could go on. If anybody she knew abducted her, you'd think somebody from...
I'm saving my Amazon Points to get the book soon. I've been looking forward to reading it. From everything that's been said about it I think it must be the best account of the Risch case yet.
Wow, I think this is the case I first joined Websleuths to discuss! I've been to the area where she was found many times and every time I've been on the tram I thought of her. After so many years I was afraid she might never get her name back. I'm glad she did and that her family members finally...
