We went to "Uncle Jo's" park again tonight and I thought about Alanna and Opal Jo. I feel like their spirits are watching over the park.

I can't bear to see Alanna on page 2 yet. Sorry for the frivolous post but I can't.

How close was the time she bought the house to the time she was awarded child support/back child support?

...and the one empty room has a different color carpet. :x I wonder if she has a stager or if that is her furniture?

If I remember, I can go by this afternoon when I run to the store. I think if I were in her shoes, I wouldn't even want to be on this earth anymore. I don't think I could bear to live knowing what a monster I had created. How do you go on knowing your child did that? I can't think of...

Re arson, it wasn't noteworthy at least. I keep wondering if he was the slimebag who broke into my car and stole my laptop and other items. I wasn't that far from him. :/

What is really creepy - they moved in when he was 12. She probably was not even a year old yet. he watched her grow up from a little baby. Then he raped her and killed her. I just don't get it.

How do you do what he did to her and then not kill her though? Her parents WOULD find out. :/

In my perfect world, someone with money will buy it and have it torn down. I don't know what would be most appropriate to replace it with especially since one would assume the area is zoned 100% residential. Maybe a place of tranquility - a garden with a small pond and benches for a quiet spot...

Why not a lie detector? Sodium pentathol?

I think you are half right. :p IMO eta: Remember Ing said he wouldn't be talking for a long time? And for all appearances he is breathing on his own and looks fairly alert now. Now why, oh why would he not be able to talk for a long time, hmmm?

I hope Anne Rule (or whoever the bestselling true crime author is today) decides to write a book about him.

If KH's father had some land, maybe they had well water. Maybe older pipes. Could be lead in that. An old house with lead paint...a kid playing on a dirty floor then putting his fingers in his mouth...guess we will never know though. :\
