    Found Deceased France - Maëlys De Araujo, 9, Pont-de-Beauvoisin, 27 Aug 2017

The case has been pretty clear cut from the get go. To many coincidences for the suspect not to be the perpetrator it was fairly clear from the get go except for the how and where. Grooming and girls DNA in his car did him in, it had no reason to be there whatsoever. The girls DNA at his...

    Found Deceased France - Maëlys De Araujo, 9, Pont-de-Beauvoisin, 27 Aug 2017

It depends on whether he still had cocaine in his possesion though and it still doesn't explain why he pretends to be ill instead of helping other wedding guests search for the girl. Or why he pretends to be sick at the time she goes missing and dissapears at the time she goes missing since he...

They are both posibilities, I'm not sure if they covered a lot of ground with cadaver and scent dogs because it is not always easy to spot an unmarked grave. He could've have had accomplishes also of course and sold her or handed her over to someone else. I believe witnesses from the party...

From what I understood the shorts are really missing because they have pictures of the party where he's wearing those exact shorts and they havent been able to locate those. So I think he did change shorts but not because of a wine stain but because of a dna stain.

It means she was in the car not necessarily literally sitting that is just a bad google translation. They knew fairly certain because of odorology by a specially trained scent dog and legitimately certified trained scent dogs (not what some regular beethoven sniffs) do hold up in court and are...

Sure its a Belgium news site so its in Flemish though. http://m.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20170904_03052350?utm_source=nieuwsblad "Investigators at the time they were still waiting for DNA results where already fairly certain that the girl had been in the car. Due to Odorology, a technique used...

Yes that be possible NL has the victim detained somewhere that is why time is running out because if he operated by himself then the victim is not being fed while NL is locked up. It is a good observation I considered that trying to monitor his movements and following him played part in...

Yes the intermingled dna is enough to keep the suspect in detention for the maximum ammount the law allows and possibly for a circumstantial case. Her dna should not have been in his car period. The dna transfer most likely happened in a blitz because he grabbed a very firm hold of the victim...

In my EU country detention on remand can last for a maximum of 200 days. I do think LE probably has more then leaked so far but that they keep it under wraps because it is an ongoing investigation and they don't want to jeopardize it. I find it highly unlikely that NL is not involved up...

Exactly, ockhams razor. To many lies, highly questionable and suspicious behavior, coincidences and deception from the suspect for him to be innocent. Yeah he didnt just have that hour he was missing from the party he had about 5 days to cover his tracks and dispose of evidence and thats...

"He stated he threw them away in a public trash bin, but can't remember which one." He seems to have a good memory because has an answer for everything knows lots of details yet the shorts which can corroberate part of his story he doesn't know which public trash bin he disposed his shorts...

It could well be that the DNA trace that contained NL and the girls DNA gotten there after he deep cleaned his car and then went back to hide her body. He could use his car after deep cleaning it easily for things relating the girl as long as he isnt going to transport bodies with it. I can...

That's what I thought also to do grid searches with cadaver dogs they are better able to detect a hidden grave site also. I wonder when the authorities established NL had scratches because if he had a time window of 5 days at least then I think its probable he went back to dispose of evidence...
