Surely if she went to the beach she would have been picked up by cameras

Where I live kids play out alone or in groups all the time. My biggest fear is a child being hit by a car, not a predator. You can't live in fear, cases like this are rare and often kids are victims of people the family know and trust. Don't let your kids grow up afraid of the world.

How far is the beach from where she was last seen? Would she have had to cross that busy road?

The makeup in that picture is distracting but I think it's more to show the purple dress which is similar to what she was wearing when she went missing

I can't find any info on her father, is he on the scene?

Really hoping for a happy outcome but it's not looking very positive. 8 yr olds don't just vanish and if there is an innocent explanation where is her scooter.
