    This is basically how I see it also. My daughter is 2 years old and she has her favorite blanket too. As long is she occupied by something she's Is fine without out, but when she gets tired and cranky she just wants to find her blanket and take a nap.

    I'm sorry about getting off track, but the discussion could be relevant. It's not necessarily just a hunting debate. Cougar -human conflicts are increasing. It is also a possibibility in this case that Deorr was attacked by one of these animals.

    You didn't have to say it. Sure all species deserve protections, and cougars ARE protected everywhere that I know of. They also need to be managed just like all other animals.

    Completely off topic and my first post, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules. These kinds of emotionally driven posts drive me crazy. Mountain Lion meat is great, so it's not all about getting a trophy. Also mountain lion populations need to be controlled just like other big game species.
