I don’t know if it’s possible to inadvertently hit the cutoff on both switches. Looks like they have to be lifted before they can change position. According The Air Current article, the landing gear isn’t controlled by the RAT. It would have remained inactive until the engine-driven hydraulics...- ElizB

Gregory Moore posts $2 million bond in Aliza Sherman murder case, leaves Cuyahoga jail He paid the full amount. Bureau of Criminal Investigations took over the case in 2021. I assume Moore was disbarred after the bomb threats? I wonder what kind of job he has now that can pay that bond?- ElizB

Malvo was charged with capital murder in Montgomery, AL in 2002. If he’s granted parole in Virginia, will he face those charges? -

IANAL, but I think that’s just the next step for McCraney. If the appeals court affirms the conviction, they ask the Alabama Supreme Court to hear the case. The state Supreme Court chooses whether they want to hear it or not.- ElizB

GUILTY CA - Mark & Jacob Iskander, 11 and 9, Killed by Drunk Socialite Rebecca Grossman in Veh vs Ped Hit & Run - Los Angeles, 2020 *GUILTY on all counts*
In this case, I think it all comes out about the same. I think a normal person would have taken a plea. RG dragged this out (and prolonged the Iskander's pain) and didn’t get much for her money and effort. I don't think this judge would have given anyone a harsher sentence. I’m very sorry for your loss. I agree taking responsibility early on could have resulted in a lighter sentence. Instead, she’s dragged this out and made it harder on everyone involved. I think the letter to the Iskander family is harassment. RG is such a toxic person. She has no shame.- ElizB
