Identified! SC - Jason Patrick Callahan, Myrtle Beach, missing since 1995

He is Grateful Doe!!! Jason Callahan has been found and Grateful Doe is no longer a Doe. I am so glad to hear this. It is sad that a young boy died but at least his family know now what happened.

I agree, I don't think the boy is as old as 10-12, my guess would be around 6-8, definitely not younger than 6 in my view.

    FL FL - Indian River Co., WhtFem 520UFFL, 21-35, in canal, 2 C-sections, Sept'82

You can have two c-section scars if one c-section was an emergency c-section. Today they are often able to make the c-sections in the same place despite it being an emergency but that was not always the case in the past. A friend of my sister has two c-section scars for this reason. I am not...

OK OK - Webbers Falls, Wht/NtvFem 30-40, UP9183, uterine hemorrhage, scars, bracelets, clothes, Apr'06

A misscarriage can bleed quite a lot without trauma as well. My sister in law was close to death when my brother found her bleeding in their cabin in the woods. My brother had gone to work and left her there to rest and enjoy the fresh air. She suddenly just felt a sharp pain in her stomage and...

I like the Marilyn Waltz picture too. The nose, the mouth is thin and quite straight for both women and really nothing else in the face seems completely wrong to me. Redheads do tend to go lighter so that fits too.

Match! NY - Caledonia, WhtFem 1UFNY, 13-19, Turquoise Necklace, Nov'79 *Tammy Alexander*

I agree on the nose. Mine points upwards and if I compare my nose with the post mortem pictures I would say mine points upwards more than Caledonia Doe's and still my nose is nowhere as much upwards pointing as the reconstructions.

Identified! OH - Troy, Miami Co., 'Buckskin Girl' WhtFem 133UFOH, 15-25, Apr'81 - Marcia King

I personally think this was her own style and that she probably was at the older end of the estimate and this is how she was dressed as a teen and she had kept to this style throughout life like many people do. If I would guess I would even say that she could be older than the estimate but...

Identified! Canada - Saskatoon, WhtFem 498UFSK, early 1900s murder victim, Jun'06 *Alice Burke Spence*

As for the possibility of her being identified I agree that it would be hard but not impossible. People might still wonder what happened to a relative who went to America and was never heard from again or their great aunt who just disappeared or something like that. That was how I found this...

Identified! FL - Christmas, WhtFem 259UFFL, 24-29, incomplete braces removal, Dec'03 Holly Garcia

I have two friends who have made full or partial removal of braces themselves. One ate sticky fudge at Christmas which you shouldn't and it got stuck in the braces and some came off and some were loose but not fully off. He called the dentist who put them there and he said that he could just use...

Resolved TX - Travis Co, LIVING Baby Girl, 2 mos, left at fire station, Apr'09 - Name withheld

Mongolian spots are much more common in certain populations such as Asians but they do affect people from a lot of races. Wikipedia says that 5-10% of Caucasians have Mongolian spots for example. I knew of their existence because a know people who have adopted children from Korea where they have...

MD MD - Hyattsville, UncFem 30-60, UP2804, prior facial trauma, front teeth slightly misaligned, Nov'65

It has just been moved, she is still there, wait a little longer and the page redirects you. It is definitely possible she was in an abusive relationship but other kinds of head trauma could also have caused her problems. She does not appear to have other broken bones than facial bones and...

Do you think she had baby teeth left or just unusually small teeth?

    What are your theories

The more I think about it, the more I think that this kid is Jason Donald Reynolds. Maybe either sample of DNA was wrong somehow because nothing else seems to fit but it being him. I don't think the sketches of him are wrong, I think they give a reasonably true picture of this person as I see...

    VA - Grateful Dead Fan - Unidentified male, 26 June 1995 - #2

Not necessarily. He is probably not skinny but I don't think he must have been perceived as chubby. I know a lot of men with roughly the same weight and height who would not be seen as either very muscular nor chubby. As a comparison people often estimate my weight to be 15-20 kg lower than...

Yes she does have read hair and freckles like Pippi. I have never really thought about it until you said so. The girl who played Pippi in the American film looks a bit like Buckskin Girl (she is alive as far as I know) as does the drawings of the girl in the books. The girl who played Pippi in...
