Yes, you are probably right. I guess I should add in the fact that I know what it's like to lose a child (not by the hand of someone else, but traumatic none the less) and it's not a grief I EVER want to go through again. My case may be a little different since I'm especially afraid of losing a...

Honestly that is hard to do lately with the home invasions and attempted abductions right in my area. My neighbors daughter was actually chased down a couple of weeks ago by a guy that was following her in a car. The driver stopped the car, the passenger got out and opened the hatch and took off...

I saw that this morning on the local news. And this is exactly why I don't get how people around Denver or other areas where attempted abductions are being reported every week are saying how relieved and more relaxed they are now that AS has been caught. They may have caught him but there...

Oh, okay. You said, "There's probably a basement window below the kitchen window ... but there are no windows on the right side of the house, and there should be at least one for evacuation." I didn't know if you had seen the other side of the house somewhere to confirm that. If you had, I...

I've been meaning to ask you, but how do you know there are no basement windows on the right side (looking from the street) of the house? I'm not saying there are no pics of that side of the house, but I haven't seen them personally. I'm just really curious how you know about the lack of...

The sliding glass door is to provide access to the pool area from the ground level family room. The 120 sq ft that we are trying to find a window for is in the basement. Hope that makes more sense!

But if an unfinished basement is put in a house during building, aren't they required to include so many windows/wells at that time? All the houses in my CO neighborhood came with unfinished basements but there were windows and wells already built in for the owner to finish if they wanted...

That is one of the ones posted earlier, thanks. There was another one also that showed the back left side of the house. The large window or door you are speaking of is a sliding glass door leading from a ground level family room.

Thanks for the link and the confirmation on which campus he attended. Was just curious.....carry on :) Duh, I just noticed that you said NORTH campus. So he was going to the Arvada campus, which was closer to the location where the body was found in Wheat Ridge.

I guess I'm not understanding what you mean? There was discussion about how close AS would have been to the body found in Wheat Ridge and posted a map showing the distance between AS's home, Warren Tech in Lakewood (which is past Wheat Ridge), and the body found in Wheat Ridge. I was just...

I don't have a link, but someone stated that there is 120sq ft of finished basement area. The window well(s) could be on the right side of the house (if you are looking at the front of the house) because this is where the basement is located, but there have been no pics available to be able to...

Do we know what campus he attended? There is also a Warren Tech campus in Arvada. http://sc.jeffco.k12.co.us/education/staff/staff.php?sectiondetailid=210638&...

As to why there would be a cat door on the garage door. Someone mentioned that they may want to provide shelter but not allow access into the house and I agree with that. I know some people leave their garage door cracked but it would make more sense to leave it closed and install a small door...

Garage doors could be wood? I'll have to go back and look, but it looks like they are older wooden doors.

This is a GREAT description. I typed something out earlier that was similar but didn't make as much sense as yours did :) We lived in a smaller split level like this but without the basement, but I can imagine how where the basement would be situated if we did have one. We had a crawl space...
