Is kidnapping considered a Federal offense?

Interesting how the judge specifically told Floyd that the kidnapping charge has a max of life in prison. Then he went through the other charges and what the penalties are. Plus, I believe I read that the court does not have to abide by the limits of the plea deal in sentencing.

Wxyz (channel 7) just did an update, and they reported that FG's wife has filed for divorce.

Right. I remember that now from going to court in Northville. So we can't really expect any live tweeting, then, right? How were the reporters tweeting from court? If I remember correctly, pretty much nothing is allowed inside the building, not just the courtrooms.

Searched the court schedule for Frank Murphy and it came up with 0 records. The case is listed, though, with the original charges, on cmspublic.3rdcc.org

Just read on the Livonia 16th district court site that cell phones are not allowed in the courthouse, with the exception being attorneys and police officers. Is that where they are? http://www.ci.livonia.mi.us/Departments/16thDistrictCourt.aspx

Clickondetroit.com Update says they are investigating an "unattended death which does not seem to involve any criminal activity" .

My thought process for asking the question is that if he IS "missing" maybe he has Dani held somewhere, and LE is just waiting for him to slip up and surface. Of course, I suppose then why not put out a pic of him, too. Just brainstorming out loud and trying to stay hopeful. #finddani

Has it been stated somewhere if LE knows the location of the SG since Dec.3rd? Is he missing?
