For a lot of autistic children, they don't make the connection of "I feel cold, I should go back inside". My granddaughter has classic regressive autism and is also non-verbal. So much that we take for granted in our thought process doesn't register with her.

I doubt it. The casinos are watching every nook & cranny always. Not only are there cameras, there's security everywhere dressed in business attire.

Just my opinion but I would think if a person were about to engage in a possible fight with a victim they'd likely want all skin covered to avoid any cuts or scratches and to aid in leaving no DNA being found under fingernails.

I think they have the case wrapped up, I think they know who they are looking at as suspects. If they're smart they're making sure they have an ironclad case with zero wriggle room before they make the arrest(s) and announce it to the public. The quiet while RL is incarcerated is telling IMO...
