This is east 162/Midland, per google images. I can't imagine that is where they were found but it does make me uneasy. It's not a wooded area behind this, there's a fence and another house. It's also extremely close to a school.
Was it "nobody noticed" or nobody said anything when they did? It's the same difference at some point. My guess is these two are going to be siblings. I'm local so I'll be keeping my eyes out for updates. If you move out of state and never enroll your kids in school... would anyone outside...
It's very frustrating. Makes my heart hurt more for her. All the people she (allegedly) knew and spent her time with... none of them cared about her at all. Not even the slightest bit if their behavior is any indicator.
Right, I find it hard to believe something so blatantly suspicious and close would be missed this long. I want to be wrong, I want it to be the break we need... but I doubt it. No prank is funny when someone's life is on the line.
Well, how long did the baby monitor store video? Was it deletable? Warrants for private video + recovering any potential deleted video could take awhile. Time for a complete autopsy to rule out any other cause and time to check for circumstantial evidence. That's what I'm hoping, anyway. More...
So according to the article above she'd been taken to the hospital earlier in the month after the first attack... by who? By an adult still present in the household, or no longer present? How long was she in the room with this dog to be discovered during a wellfare check? Dogs and tiny humans...
Kidnapping maybe... but potentially a charge for interfering with lawful custody? It's usually much broader and includes *any* adult knowingly harboring a runaway or otherwise missing minor against their parents will. No coercion, force or literal "taking" required.
Imo ofc.

I live in Cleveland and I'm struggling to wrap my head around all of this. The violence here doesn't faze me but...

Guilty on all charges!
I wonder if the death of the LDS leader had anything to do with it... but it couldn't be in response to any new leadership as there just wouldn't have been enough time - not even a day ago. Unless the shooter was planning and waiting for his death to do it?
But do we really have any evidence he...
Thank you for posting it, i was worried about them. I feel like there is a thread... somewhere... or maybe my brain blends news articles and websleuths together. Thank goodness they are alive.
Given how late at night it was I don't think it would have been possible for the homeowner to know the child's race. Unless he could see through a ring camera or the like - which would be more incriminating if he could clearly see a child and then still did what he did.
Edit: profanity, sorry
