We're in Alpine, Texas, walking to raise awareness for missing Sul Ross student, Zuzu Verk. Her parents are living here for the time being. Super nice people--they just need some answers!!!!

I live in Crane, two hours north of Alpine--my wife and I are closely watching the events unfold. Alpine is a great little town, just went thru there a few weeks ago on the way to the Big Bend (btw, there is both a state park and a national park called Big Bend). Both are huge, but West Texas...

Prayers from here in West Texas (2 hours from Alpine). We're following the case closely and may go to Alpine this weekend to help search.

Yes, you could sit down and eat at Stripes, but not really a hang out. You'd be more likely to stop for a snack or gas than to spend any real time there.

Stripes is just a convenient store here in W. Texas.

I'm just sad for HD. What a sorry job of parenting from BOTH parents. I've defended Clint, but Lord, enough of the drug thing. We get it, you smoke dope. But getting arrested over and over is distracting from the case. It's all just disappointing.

This thread was a good read, but I guess I didn't really see anything that lived up to the hype as to what was going to be "revealed" on the show. Could one of you who actually listened to it enlighten me (and others)?? Thanks, you're a great crew to know.

My wife and I were thinking last night, that if the 2:00 text was pinging off of the tower in Colorado City, it may let SA off the hook, however, if it pinged from BD's phone OFF THE BIG SPRING tower, SA's in a whole heap of doodoo.

In BD's new latest version of events, SA was baking cookies and vacuuming the house when DD came in. :banghead:

Yeah, this is JUST WEST TEXAS, if you get on someone's land without permission, you might get shot! No biggie, we all know that here. If searchers will speak to land owners first, either the owners will search or they'll let the searchers search. Anyway, don't think they're growing anything...
