The few times I have taken a local bus (never Susquehanna Trailways) it was nearly empty with perhaps 10 people on board. Everybody was spread out and nobody talked to other people (unless they were traveling together). The bus only has to get you to a larger metropolitan area that offers...

Yes, the train is at least once per day.

There are no elk in this area and I do not believe a bear has been harvested within 10 miles of Lewisburg. You are correct that many deer, small game and waterfowl hunters go through this area (including some fishermen). Many bodies have been found by hunters in the past.

On the other side of the river, traveling east towards Montandon on PA RT 45, there is a quarry with some deep, water-filled pits. The area is very rural and typical of small Pennsylvania "boroughs". Since it is more secluded than downtown Lewisburg, nefarious people would have been...

How does RFG get from the parking lot to the wooded area without a trail that the dogs could follow? That would imply RFG was carried into the woods, from an open, public parking lot. Then, that would imply RFG was knocked out in the parking lot (without blood). Transfer to another car...

Regardless of theory (walk-away, murder) RFG left Lewisburg. The Susquehanna is not known for swallowing people......nearly everyone ever lost in the river is found eventually.

A few thoughts: The Wiley case was big news. Residing in Cleveland, Ray would have been inundated by the reports at the time and probably knew more about it from those reports than anyone working in the Centre County DA's Office. He may have been asked about it due to his proximity. The...

Using weather history on 15 April 2005, there were several large wind gusts (20-25mph) around 1 pm and 2 pm. A person standing outside the car with a lit cigarette could have had the ashes blown into the open door from such a gust.

From the same NY Times article: According to people involved in the case, Sandusky was never placed under extensive surveillance. Instead, they began poring over the records of Sandusky’s charity, the Second Mile, and interviewing people who had been through the program. If Gricar had...

Sounds eerily familiar to the 1998 explanation that resulted in charges being dropped.

Step back and take a breath. Sandusky is well-known in 1998. He admits to inappropriate contact. Gricar knows Sandusky started a charity for troubled boys. Gricar knows Sandusky lives across the street from a school with a window towards the playground. Sandusky fits the profile of a...

Crap! I thought I checked that Corbett took office in 2004.....not 2005. My apologies.

The NY Times ran an article today about Tom Corbett's involvement in the Sandusky case and how he started the investigation, grand jury, etc but had to stay quiet while running for governor and even after he took office. However, this is an interesting tidbit from the article (emphasis is...

Secret compartments in the vehicle? It is more likely that they did not do a thorough search the first time with knowledge about the compartments that can be found in a Mini Cooper.

As an outsider, looking-in, it appears RFG was very meticulous about many things. Therefore, erasing the hard drive and then throwing it in the river gave him that "insurance" that the data could not be recovered. If RFG walked-away, his personal laptop may have been used to arrange...
