So, that's great news that they did not find anything! That means there is hope she's alive. If there was a body to be found, wouldn't they have started excavating immediately? Or at least setting up a perimeter?

There was a long gap in hearing from the Parsons between Dr. Phil and earlier this week. In the interim their attorney discussed Carolyn's possible involvement, and it was discussed at length on this board. So, his quote today was not just following their script.

Here is the explanation in the article I posted: "The couple agreed to be fingerprinted, he said, so that investigators can look at the evidence and determine which prints are not theirs."

If they were fingerprinted and released either: 1. They were charged and released on their own recognizance, or 2. They were fingerprinted because they were cooperating with the investigation. Since they were in court already, it would make sense for the FBI to meet them and have them...
