He's on lighter paved area between darker paving and base of tree, walking roughly parallel to angle of white wall, to my eye heading towards rear bin area.

The only thing that can be believed with any certainty is that his phone travelled in a motorised vehicle from BSE (though not necessarily from the Horseshoe) to Barton Mills at a time known to the police. I'd have (formerly) thought it would be possible to get a shortlist of possible vehicles...

I wouldn't say it proves that, they could be wandering back and forth behaving a bit suspiciously.

Since the possibility of his access to the lane heading to Hughes without being seen has been discounted, I'm assuming there's a possibility this area has not been included in the recent search. There are residences above the shops there, including two floors above Celebrities Nails, the doorway...

Blown them up to see better. There are a lot of similarities, build, height relationship, clothing tones. Can't spot any discrepancies.
