Looking it up for Ohio..stripes are a type of inmate classification. Like high, medium or whichever security level.

Here in VA if you are in stripes it means you are on punishment for breaking a rule. Fighting, talking back to CO's etc. Not sure about Ohio. No one wants to go before the judge in stripes. The judge knows what it means.

I have read everything I can find on this case and am still puzzled. One thing I feel for certain is that BL is deceased. He is more than likely on that land in the area somewhere. By now not much left for sure. A really good search needs to be done and bring some closure to this family one way...
