Australia Claremont Serial Killer, 1996-1997, Perth, Western Australia - #8 ARREST*

I do understand your concerns and yes we need to respect due process. But realistically, his DNA has positively matched DNA found on one of the murder victims. Unless he's going to somehow convince a judge that there was DNA transferred from the real killer to him via both people eating at the...

I see police have removed his cover photo because of those friends of his whose faces were on it.

Australia Claremont Serial Killer, 1996-1997, Perth, Western Australia - #7 *ARREST*

I think he may well have confessed, a la David Burnie, hence the digging up of the backyard. If the house was unattended at the time of SS's disappearance/suspected murder, and given what someone posted about there being a ton of bushland next to it, it sounds like it's definitely possible he...

ABC said the case would take at least a year to go to trial. I guess they assume that he'll plead not guilty!

Very interesting stuff on Ch 7. Said DNA from a stolen kimono left at the scene in the 1988 attack that was sitting in storage for 28 years was re-tested months ago and provided the link to BE.

Australia Australia - Corryn Rayney, 44, Como, WA, 7 August 2007

It seems that the prosecution has a very strong case based on the first few days' proceedings. LR's actions and statements after the crime certainly seem to indicate a strong consciousness of guilt. I've been thinking about what the defense will focus on to convince the judge that there is...

I thought that her last post was at 7:18pm Sunday which went something like, 'just when i thought i was over this sickness stuff, it comes back, thanks a lot'. That quote that you posted, wasn't that something that was posted on the wall of the main tribute page by a friend?

Yes, you're right, that was a misstatement of fact on my part. If there were any accomplices, I hope they will be brought to justice. One person of interest would be the other man that was seen in the Toyota 4WD around the time of the murder.

Yes. In remand. Hopefully they can lay charges on the accessories as well, if there were any.
