It does indeed narrow down into a large culvert under Jordan...the canal doesn't really "flow", it's pretty stagnant & incredibly murky. It's not a body of water that anyone (atleast in the 8+ years that I lived there) swims in, I can only recall seeing ONE john-boat in there in all that time...

Not sure of the exact depth of it, it's pretty murky & deep enough that once you look a few feet past the shore line, you can't see the bottom. The only "lake" that it feeds into is fairly small, down towards the Publix, Kmart (sort of behind it) & Fla Mall HTH
