The video is almost certainly from the night of the abduction as the lantanas he used on the camera were on the ground in early photos/video of the scene.
The backpackless image is a whole other question
It could also not have been a physical note but rather something typed onto one of NG's devices like her phone or laptop if she has one.
Not saying that happened at all, but it would be a way to have a note with little physical evidence
Nah I think they're all somewhat covered in the definition, though I'm no legal expert.
Edit: I will say, I kinda doubt Nanos was actually speaking using the legal definition of kidnapping in AZ but rather, as we've seen before, just using the phrase in general. i.e someone taken from their...
Where are you getting the 'held somewhere' bit from?
Arizona's definition of kidnapping is here
The intent to hold someone makes it a kidnapping, so it being a kidnapping just means they intended to hold them for some reason, it doesn't necessarily mean it ever got to that point
Makes me think even more that LE are basically nowhere on this case
I know people like to think LE are playing 4D chess and there'll be an arrest any day now, but this seems like a genuine plea for help rather than some LE tactic IMO
I've always liked the analogy I heard on, I think, the X Files. "When you hear hooves, think horses not zebras"
I don't even think 'burglary gone wrong' is the simplest explanation here, given the public evidence here I'd have thought 'kidnapped for ransom' is the simplest explanation for it all
I'm not sure the 'ransom note as a distraction' theory works for me. It feels like it's just giving LE another avenue to try and trace you so it's an unnecessary risk unless the money is at least part of the motive.
Though it is the kind of thing that someone who has learned all their...
He has one thing poking out of one pocket, and we have no idea if the backpack is why he is leaning
What is erratic about his movements? Is the plant thing odd? Sure, but odd is not erratic. There is no panic in his movements IMO
I know I'm not who you were asking but I have some thoughts
IMO he wasn't forced to put the gun where he did, he put it there because it was the most visible place for it while keeping his hands free
I don't see any evidence that there's anything wrong with the way his backpack or pockets are...
Isn't the garage/driveway where the perp comes from in the video we do have?
I didn't realise there was so much coverage with cameras, surprised only the door cam captured him
I'm not sure any pacemaker data from the previous day would have even made it to her phone/watch
I'm open to correction from more knowledgeable folks but my understanding is that the pacemaker would likely only connect to the phone/watch once a day on a schedule to upload data as if it was any...
