I think the DT poked more holes in the PT's theories this time. I will personally be surprised with G of M1. I could see a G of M2 as a compromise, but I think its most likely going to be hung.
How about the vote from the first JY trial. Kind of opposite results from BC. 90% of voters through a guilty verdict would be returned but the Jury was 8-4 NG.

JLY is...
For me, I would say there is about a 75% chance he is guilty, but that does not meet my personal level of being moral satisfied to enter a guilty verdict. Thus I a presume he is innocent and I would have to vote this way.
How have we all missed this. I thought part of the states timeline is JY coming back in the (unlocked) side door after the rock is kicked out. I guess they could say he still had it propped with a twig that wasn't kicked out?
One possibility would be another guest exiting one of those side doors.
Was there actual testimony that the side door was locked 24/7? Many hotels do not lock these doors 24/7, only while the sun is down.
Hung jury is most likely outcome. Going to be hard to get 12 people to agree on this.
One thing, the extra 2nd degree charge will make the verdict reading even more dramatic!
I know a lot of you think this is terrible, but I personally think this closing is pretty solid.
They are pointing out the weaknesses in the PT's case, introducing alternate possibilities for most of the CE, pointing out that there are many more than ~200 sole with that same design, etc...
The judge will give them a direct charge to not take his silence into account. Listen to the charges from the jury from last time. It is very clear they are not to consider it when deciding his guilt.
